WealthPulse Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
WealthPulse ("the app") is developed by SGKS Labs. This policy explains what information the
app handles, why, and the choices you have. WealthPulse has no backend server of its own — your
financial data lives on your device and, only if you choose to turn on sync, in a folder in your
own Google Drive account that you control.
Information We Collect
- Financial data you enter — the asset and liability classes and values you
record. This is stored locally on your device only, unless you turn on Google Drive Sync.
- Profile photo — if you add one in Settings, it is stored only in the app's
private storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere, including to Google Drive.
- Google Account information (optional) — if you sign in with Google to
enable Drive Sync, the app receives your email address and display name, and requests
permission to create and manage files it creates itself in your Google Drive
(the
drive.file scope). This permission does not let the app see or access any
other file already in your Drive.
- Advertising identifiers — WealthPulse shows ads via Google AdMob (unless
you've purchased Remove Ads). AdMob may collect device identifiers such as the Android
Advertising ID and other information to show and measure ads, as described in
Google's Privacy Policy.
- Purchase confirmation — the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed
entirely by Google Play Billing. WealthPulse never receives or stores your payment card
details — only a purchase-confirmed status from Google Play.
How We Use Information
- To run the app's core functionality — tracking and displaying your net worth over time.
- To sync your data across your own devices via your own Google Drive, only if you turn this on.
- To show ads and process the optional ad-removal purchase.
We do not sell your personal data, and we have no server that stores your financial data —
it never passes through anything SGKS Labs operates.
Data Storage & Security
- All financial data is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device.
- If Google Drive Sync is on, a single backup file lives in a folder named
"WealthPulse Backups" in your own Google Drive — visible and manageable by you at any time,
the same as any other file in your Drive.
- CSV and PDF exports are saved only to the location you pick yourself, via Android's
standard file picker — the app never sends these files anywhere on its own.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob (advertising) — Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play Billing (purchases)
- Google Sign-In / Google Drive (optional sync)
Your Choices
- WealthPulse works fully offline — signing in with Google and Drive Sync are entirely optional.
- You can sign out of Google Drive Sync at any time from Settings.
- You can purchase "Remove Ads" to stop seeing ads permanently.
- Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device. Deleting the "WealthPulse
Backups" folder from your Google Drive removes your synced backup.
Children's Privacy
WealthPulse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating
the "Last updated" date above.
